MOSCOW, Jan 23 (PRIME) -- Russia has adjusted its January schedule of oil supplies to Belarus to around 500,000 tonnes from 750,000 tonnes, because of the start of deliveries from third states, including Norway, a source familiar with the schedule told PRIME on Thursday.
“Due to the start of oil deliveries to Belarus from third states, in particular, Norway, the timeline of Russian crude supplies has been adjusted,” the person said.
Earlier this week, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko said that his state would aim at purchasing only 30–40% of the needed amount of oil from Russia. Belarus state energy holding Belneftekhim said it had bought 80,000 tonnes of Norwegian oil to be delivered at the end of January via the Lithuanian port of Klaipeda.
